Happy Thanksgiving

2002-12-01 17:19:33+00 by TC 5 comments

We had to get above 7,000ft to find it but we found snow and made a "snow princess" and managed to find our selves alone for many hours. This helped us relax before the 27!! relatives showed up and did all the things they do. I think I need another vacation...There was lot's of drinking and a remote controlled fart machine. what's your best thanksgiving moment?

Saving my younger kid from choking to death on a chunk of Thanksgiving turkey. For future reference, the Heimlich maneuver does work. Sometimes not until the second time you try it, but it does work. And also for future reference, kids need to be reminded that forks and knives were invented for a reason.

Oh yeah, and I finished my novel! Yay me!

Best Thanksgiving moment.. stopping by an old friends house for a quick "Happy Thanksgiving" turned into a 4 hour pleasant visit... just a nice chill.

Wow. I'll put up a full report once I get back from Hong Kong, but I had a fantastic vacation. Hanging out at a fun B&B with a wonderfully gracious host, dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant where the wait staff and the owner cranked up the music and did pole dances every once in a while, walks on the beach.

And then a drive back up route 1 from Santa Cruz in which we hit basically zero traffic, to end up home in a mellow space. This was the vacation I've always wanted to take after other vacations.
