Study links chiropractic "spinal manipulative therapy" to increased stroke risk.
Done with a small sample, but while I've long been a believer in chiropractic treatments for some things, I haven't yet found a practitioner out here in Marin that I'd trust to adjust me.

Well, my mother was one of the most devoted chiropractic clients I've ever met, and she had the first of her many debilitating strokes at age 66, 13 years ago. She hasn't spoken or walked since. My anecdotal bet is on there being a connection.
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your
comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel
they detract from the conversation. Commercial plugs are fine,
if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't
try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted
if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and
more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave
such ridicule in place.
