Beer for the Homeless

There is the Blood Assurance program where you store up blood for those times you really need it. Can Beer Assurance be far behind?

"It had been a long time since I didn't have to feel guilty and hide my head in shame for drinking. Now, thanks to Beer For The Homeless, I am walking proud."

Take that San Francisco -- you are so -- behind in your thinking.....

Oh. My. The hell with Care Not Cash, I can get behind this. Need to make up a T-shirt or something to advertise this solution locally.

I heard one of the founders on the radio today, Jeff Styles from WGOW, and he said it was successful and received 3 types of responses:

1.) No thanks, I don't drink.

2.) Thank you, but the community kitchen won't take me if I drink

3.) Thanks and can you add Whores for the Homeless and Weed for the Homeless.

They talked earlier in the day about some of the responses to this campaign, most were quoting bible verses and had talk about feeding the addiction.

Styles made his first beer run recently, and there are pictures on the website that are pretty funny.

And if you want some real entertainment, read the feedback section of the site and the discussion area on Fark.Com about the site.

Hilarious stuff!
