Photographer suing over doctored photo showing Kerry next to Jane Fonda. Wow. Just imagine how dirty this race is gonna be when it's no longer Democrat against Democrat.

The photographer is a friend of mine (used to live two houses down the street), Ken Light. His book of photos of Texas death row inmates is particularly stunning.

As an aside, what makes you think this would necessarily have resulted from a "Democrat against Democrat" struggle? For my money, someone on the elephant side of the aisle has already gotten their Photoshop mojo workin' -- I'm betting this ain't the work of no fellow Democrat.

Hmmm... I'm actually not sure who I think it came from. I'm inclined to believe that if it was Republican it was an independent operation, mainly because at this point I think Karl Rove is just sitting back and letting the Democrats tear each other down right now.

But I certainly don't pretend to understand election tactics.

I heard it was Hillary behind all of this. Of course I listen to talk radio a good bit.
