Shrek2

At friends reccomendation, Nancy and I saw Shrek2 last night. It might be cute enough for kids, but it was clearly aimed at an older crowd. Hilarious, fun, and well done (I'm not a computer animation critic). Puss and Boots was great.. Learning that Pinochio wears womens underwear is hilarious.. and well.. We laughed out loud and stomped our feet a lot. - Oh.. and if you have not seen it yet, hang around past what you think is the end.

Heehee. Yep, we saw it too last night and enjoyed it a lot. We sat through the credits 'cause we wanted to see some names of folks we know, and as I was sitting there I was almost thinking it'd be fun to work on movies again.

Almost.

But recommended from this camp, too.

Glad to hear. We thoroughly enjoyed the first one and the trailers for 2 have looked pretty promising. Now if we could just carve out some spare time and a bit of extra cash...

who thought that the entire moral of the first one was trashed completely by the princess turning into an ogre?

Jay, I thought that was the entire moral of the first one.

Um, yeah. Me too.

Found some time to fit 2 in last night. Oh, goodness. I think this might very well be one of those rare gems - a sequel that's actually better than the first. Not the hardest I've ever laughed, but damned close.

It's our normal habit to stay through the credits (not because we're looking for anybody we know, although I probably should be), but thanks for the heads-up meuon :-) A good chunk of the audience was caught turned around in the exit hallway.
