Facts of software engineering

It has been a long time since I've cared about buying a book on "software engineering", most of 'em recently seem to be of the "regurgitate what people want to hear" mode, but Borklog pointed to Facts of Software Engineering Management excerpted from Facts and Fallacies of Software Engineering[Wiki] by Robert L. Glass[Wiki] that makes it look like the book might be worth a read.
