7300 CXT

I've now run across this on another site, but Frankie alerts me to life imitating satire: Remember the alleged Kenworth Pilgrimage? Now there's the International©7300 CXT pickup truck.

*blink* *blink*

with gas prices at what they are this is an interesting time to launch such a behemoth on the market, ok stating the obvious here but I am a bit rusty posting on flutterby.

I've seen similiar 'custom' beasts towing very nice horse trailers at horse shows.. I think this is just a standardized version of something that had been available as a custom for a while. Error in thought process though.. Putting that big heavy thing in off-road situations, even for posing, is just 'wrong', especially with those side mounted fuel tanks. It looks a lot like a GMC truck bed bolted to a naked chassis.

I think I ran across a reference somewhere that said it was basically International's cement truck chassis with a pickup bed on it.

I think its a great truck. One of my construction friends just bought one and he said it is actually pretty good on gas he gets 790 miles per tank and its great for the family because of the drop down dvd player. I know its kind of a weird thing but my cusen who is 18 just bought one and i drove it its awsome! And its not 1 bit sluggish plenty of power and great breaking power i am thinking of getting one!
