Need to close out my browser tabs, so a link dump:

The next (June 1^st) dorkbot-sf get-together looks like fun. I've heard a bit about the SimNuke project, but generally with the "can't talk about this yet" caveat. It's public now. And Violet Blue is doing a presentation on teledildonics, something that's come up here before.
Need to sign up for SIGGRAPH.
Making Peace With Autism by Susan Senator looks interesting.
And I need to clear my schedule and sign up and send money for the WWDC Weblogger Dinner.

I'll be going to both; now that I'm a Mac developer (of a sort, I'm typing this on a Mac, but all of the code I'm writing has been platform... well, "agnostic" isn't quite strong enough) it's appropriate to be up on such things.

Hey Dan, a more prominent "login" button might be a good idea -- I made the above comment via news, and wanted to edit it to remove the .sig, but I couldn't find any way to trigger a login other than making another comment...

Ah... You can get there via User Account Info, but I should make that more explicit.

I also apparently need to fix some stuff in the news posting. Hate to have to dig into that code again, but...

Dave: could be worse -- I found out about last year's dinner after it happened, and I could have made it there.

Dan: I'll be in San Diego the week before SIGGRAPH. If I had a spare $800, I'd head up to LA to check it out. As it is, I'll have been in the San Diego KOA for a week while attending the ESRI UC (and presenting). The UC ends on Friday. SIGGRAPH starts Saturday. I'm driving out, so I'll have a vehicle (I'll also be leaving for Utah right after).
