I am now updating my Amazon Wishlist...

Many fields are conducive to self-study. That's why online education is possible (and growing). But what many people really need are imposed deadlines. That's what traditional education gives...

And for the MBA... Well, I know that UTC has a top-ranked MBA program and it's much less expensive than Harvard. But as the author mentions, you'll meet alot of important people while at school. Going to Harvard isn't so much about getting a piece of paper that says "Harvard" at the top - it's about rubbing shoulders for 4 years with other people who go to Harvard.

Yeah, my impression of a good business school is that it's like a good law school program, lots of interactivity in the classroom.

Which goes back to my old "get into the best school you can and party your ass off" line.
