Z360 panoramas, full 360 degree panoramic images that are pretty cool.

Nice site. Great locations. For more panorama fun, check out:

Last link has a very detailed how-to on creating your own panoramas using the free and fantastic PanoTools. A brief tour of the last site will also yield several Lego Mindstorm robots for controlling cameras.
I'm hoping to get my first KAP panorama next week. I got an Olympus C-60 and one of the CKC Power Lens Adapters mentioned ages ago. The fish-eye lens I have is an older Olympus model designed for a small range of older digital cameras (highest resolution 2.1Mpix and no IR remote). The C-60 is 6Mpix and seems to work well with the fish-eye lens. Altogether, the camera, lens adapter, and fish-eye cost under $150 and weighs less than 500g. That's significant when you look at other fish-eye setups!

Commercial plugs are fine, if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave such ridicule in place.
