[Nature Woman] To understand this picture you'll have to view one of the larger versions and look for forms...

This formation is visible from Lake Sonoma, north of Healdsburg.

[Edit: Charlene thinks this version is better, here's the version I had first]

Hey, when were you here? That's not that far away from me, and one of my favorite drives (sorry, not up to biking it at the moment).

Yesterday. Friends have a boat at the marina there, and we spent the afternoon in a cove alternately lounging about in the water when the sun was out, then shivering when the wind came up.

I want to ride up there some day this summer, but without a pack to trade leads with it could take me (at least) 6 hours, and it's hard to call it spending a day on the boat if I only get there mid-day.

On the other hand, Healdsburg is a bit closer, maybe one of these days I could meet y'all for lunch, bike back down to Santa Rosa and catch the 80 down to San Rafael...

Any time; just let me know. And if you decide you want to try the foodie places, they're a whole lot cheaper at lunchtime (not to mention it's a whole lot easier to get a table then).

And, in the interests of fair play, I give you this one.

And I'm doing good, being the non-geek, to get the link there; if someone geekier than I wants to make it so the pic shows up, please be my guest! ;-)
