Susie Bright writes about gender bias in weblogging, in which she asks:
Why don't straight men include sexuality in their blog writing—
aside from the resolutely anonymous few that sex-blog professionally?
Well, despite the fact that sometimes I go out of my way to be ambiguous about my sexuality, and I've tried a number of kinks, my sexual tastes end up being pretty plain. I guess I could adopt the "straight" moniker. I don't know if the Erotic and Sexual Culture topics here count as including sexuality, but if I get much more explicit I'm starting to violate some privacies of people who haven't necessarily signed on to be exposed to the world.

I don't really discuss things on my blog because we all have to have *some* secrets, don't we?
Seriously, I don't want to (like you) violate the privacies of people who didn't exactly sign on to having their lives on view via a weblog. I don't really have a problem talking about me, but I always feel weird about invoking someone else's story or their inclusion into my life.
That being said, I've added a lot of very deep posts that are far more intimate than anything I ever did sexually. They might not seem like that on apperance, but some of what I've gone through in the past year has wound up online. Usually as a poem or something like that....

I really don't discuss much sexual, because, well, there's just been a depressingly long time with nothing
to write about.
Heck, I can't even find a TOY I like enough to commit to. HHOS.

I don't write about sex on my blog because, well, my mom reads it. And my ex. And I have it linked to my work site, etc etc. BUT I have toyed with the idea of starting a 'secret' blog and even have the name chosen and have set it up on a blogging site, but haven't beautified it nor made any posts....sigh...I'm too busy having sex to write about it.

My sex life is wonderful and exciting... to me and my wife. I think if I wrote about it, though, it would probably put even me to sleep, oh, and my wife would kill me.

Nancy: "sigh...I'm too busy having sex to write about it." - Grin. :)
Like Nancy, I'll keep some propriety online because there are people who check up on me on Flutterby and other places whom I don't really need voyeuring on that part of my (and Nancy's) life. I've also said a lot online about sex over the years.. not too many secrets out there.
Funny thing is, I can sum up a lot kinda like Dan. I'm pretty open minded, tried a lot of different things over the years but I would have to say my tastes are fairly normal mature heterosexual loving, sharing, playful and fun. I like to please Nancy, and her me.. and the feedback loop on that in incredible.
The most amazing thing is, after getting married, it's actually gotten better.
