Keeping Quicken running under Codeweavers on Linux[Wiki] as Microsoft[Wiki] does more and more to try to make that impossible has me looking for other alternatives. Moneydance is written in Java and will run on Linux[Wiki] and Mac[Wiki] as well as Windows[Wiki].

not sure what you're doing with it, but gnucash works for me for household finances

Yeah, gnucash looked a little more accounting oriented when I looked at it, and I wanted something that was more familiar to how Charlene's doing things now. 'though she is actually using QuickBooks. Maybe I'll have to look at it again.
