MMOG Future

This is mandatory reading for Dan but the rest of you might find this interesting as well. Catch you later, I'm off to storm the castle, well actually I have to write the castle code first then there's that pesky draw bridge routine. grumble grumble

I found it interesting, not least because my brain was (wholly by coincidence) working along the same lines at the time, and the result was my annual essay on game design - this time focusing on my recent MMOG experiences, and some internal conflicts in designing such games so as to please everybody. (It may not be possible.)

Probably not interesting reading for very many, but what the heck, a link doesn't hurt anyone.

http://www.cyboria.com is the semi-locally created prject along these lines. They need a drawbridge.
