Vanity searching is how I check out how a search engine works. Because I know the subject matter well, and what/why/where a lot of stuff is posted, it's a good starting place. I also did searches for Chattanooga, Burning Man and Geodesic Domes. Useful, but not as useful as Google.

Vanity searching can be fun. I discovered that the Boy Scout summer camp where I was a counselor has an Alumni site and full organization. A few weeks after this discovery I made another when a fellow alumni-counselor (he says I looked familiar but he only looks vaguely so to me) use the secret phrase "underwater basket weaving" while talking to me about my school plans.

Wow.. Did a search on just 'meuon' and found things that were bizarre.. and educational. a search on 'chattanooga' was interesting as well. I am finding my Burning Man Pictures.. with credit.. in the most amazing places like:
