Kudos to the Postal Service and IRS

On April 14th I mailed in my taxes, and a large check. It deducted from the bank on April 18th. Obviously they have optimized the receiving/opening mail and getting a check deposited process.Wow!

Don't rub it in. They probably should have just had me send my electronic withdrawal directly to your account. (And the accounts of about 40 other people. Sigh.)

Even better is the speed at which the Franchise Tax Board directly deposited my California state refund into my checking account.

Nope. They just checked their video and submitted an ACH before you sealed the envelope. ;)

uhm. thats how it works. if you owe them money, they're totally on the ball. if they owe you, be prepared to wait... and wait. :)
