A object shaped like a baseball bat that is used to knock bogon particles out of objects (often a human skull) which changes the relative balance of cluon and bogon particles to be cluon++. This state of cluefullness will last for random time, based on the ability of the smacked item to attract bogons.
Warning: Some items are bogon emitters: Television. Fark.com, Children. and proximity to them has an immediate counter-cluon/bogon++ effect.
An advanced form of the clue-bat is lead weighted and has large spikes. While the application of this cluebat is potentially lethal, it has satisfyingly positive cluon results when properly applied for both the user, and society at large.
Note: the lead weighted cluebat soaks up some extra bogons as it endows the cluon bat with extra cluon laden mass and inertia.
