These are small examples of why I keep pushing the idea that "we have Earth, and only mother Earth" in the short-term on which to exist as a human race. Unless we have folks who have the technololgy in hand to terraform Mars into a nice living space. It's also why I think our unfettered capitalistic economic model of "growth for the sake of growth" will eventually catch up to all of us.

Politicians can lie to people, but they can't twist the ultimate laws of physics.

Unfortunately, our technology in hand may only terraform Earth into a place more like Mars!
