Farewell to Alms, entry #1

Based on this posting and this posting over at Philip Greenspun's weblog I bought Farewell to Alms[Wiki] by Gregory Clark[Wiki]. I don't want to get ahead of myself, I'm just through the introduction and into the first chapter, but in much the same way that we ended up buying 3 or 4 copies of Omnivore's Dilemma[Wiki], just to make sure that everyone in our circle had a chance to read it, I think this one is going to be similarly thought provoking about economics.
