These are the "they might do it crimes". What it amounts to is a true abuse of children and their parents. Children used as shield and sword for prosecutors, politicians, and others who are either seeking power, trying to control their own guilty impulses, or looking for camouflage.
Prior to the advent of the net, the US Post Office was reputed to be the biggest distributor of child pornography in its quest to entrap targets. Does anyone have a reference to this, or is it just an urban legend?
We will not edit your comments. However, we may delete your
comments, or cause them to be hidden behind another link, if we feel
they detract from the conversation. Commercial plugs are fine,
if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't
try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted
if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and
more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave
such ridicule in place.
