Today's ride

A little over 50 miles. 15.8 avg. Red Hill to Marshall Wall to Tomales, back through Chileno Valley. Notable incidents:

  • Tight line coming down Red Hill, 38+ in a 35 zone, buzzed by a black Versa. I believe drivers who assault cyclists should have their corpses left atop the smoking remains of their vehicles as a warning to others. Expect that crap from big pickup drivers, not from small compacts.
  • Descending the Marshall Wall, coastal fog was misting all over the sunglasses, had to look over the tops to get any sort of visibility. Not that there was much of that.
  • Coming up Route 1 along Walker Creek from Tomales Bay at 23MPH, the two guys in front were trading leads passing on the left. Love hanging on to that...

Overall I was a little slow, but it was good to get back in the saddle.
