- If you haven't looked at 3d printing in a while, it's worth some time poking around Shapeways. The SE thread linked to this stainless steel Möbius strip, but I was also impressed that some of the other stuff people are using their process for isn't much more expensive than mass-produced.
- You've undoubtedly by now seen the New York Times peek into mapping Netflix queues. Some of this is where the lines get drawn arbitrarily, but I was impressed by how it showed the east/west Petaluma cultural divide (click on the Bay Area map and drag up). Via.
