Anyone else remember when Google

Anyone else remember when Google services had nice clean interfaces that weren't annoying and intrusive?

i have been clicking on the "low bandwidth interface" when/where i can. and then it often say i should be using Chrome. but it works better for me in many ways.

I'm still using the old Gmail and Calendar interfaces. The new ones blind me and make me want to check email or my agenda less. Strange thought for a company that wants me to use the internet more.

It is not just Google that has screwed up a well implemented interface, as there seems to be a veritable tsunami of disastrous design flooding the net. An industry is well into senescence when marketing and litigation gain control over technology and customer service.
