Seems like more cameras is the solution here: Get everything streaming back to the remote van, and run video of the perps the next time this happens...

Gotta be pawning 'em. A 6k news camera is still low-end enough that it could find a general market, insurance undoubtedly covers most of the loss, and the issues involved in returning that camera without getting busted are tough enough that I'm betting they end up on Craigslist.
