John McAfee is giving progress reports on his attempts to evade Belize authorities
In an email to The Associated Press, McAfee confirmed a posting to his website that described in what appeared to be joking tones how he had avoided authorities by mounting a distraction.

Of course the real crime is that it took a murder for law enforcement to take an interest. If this were a fair and just world we'd have enacted laws against the malware masquerading as "anti-virus software" that made him rich long ago.
