Leidenfrost

2013-10-02 17:47:27.813708+02 by Dan Lyke 0 comments

The Leidenfrost effect is when a liquid on a hot surface traps the gas of the boiling liquid underneath, causing bubbles of the liquid to skitter around the hot surface. University of Bath students Carmen Cheng and Matthew Guy built a really cool maze using the Leidenfrost effect (YouTube).
