The British Home Office sent 40k texts which read "Message from the UK Border Agency. You are required to leave the UK as you no longer have right to remain." and, of course, many of those who got the texts were in the nation legally, some were citizens.

I can't help but thinking that in the way that Germany seems to be interested in going out of its way to be not Nazi, that the Brits kinda think they get a free pass for having been not Nazi...
