Truthiness of Rand Paul

One of the issues that any serious student of Objectivism eventually struggles with is the notion of truth as force. If I deliberately lie to you, I'm using force. So what happens if I withhold information? Is that force too? Misrepresent information?

National Journal: The Truthiness of Rand Paul:

"Actually, I do," said the ophthalmologist-turned-senator, who stays sharp (and keeps his license) by doing pro bono eye surgeries during congressional breaks. "I never, ever cheated. I don't condone cheating. But I would sometimes spread misinformation. This is a great tactic. Misinformation can be very important."

Also interesting that he very much espouses a zero-sum winners and losers game rather than a cooperative winners and winners game.
