NYT further intermingles ads & content

Ad Age: New York Times shrinks labeling on its sponsored posts. No news on whether they'll begin to label single-sourced propaganda from the military industrial complex, or start charging for scare pieces about stolen passwords that are rewritten press releases from "security" companies with a product to sell.

Ya know, if they're hard up for revenue, I'd pay for something that hid all NYT "Style" section articles from me, for the rest of time.

Commercial plugs are fine, if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave such ridicule in place.
