I understand a loose translation is 'Tearing down new houses.'
And it might be more accurate to say 'The *first* German Industrial band.' Although Throbbing Gristle probably wins for 'First industrial band.'

The common translation when I was active in goth circles was "collapsing new buildings", in the sense of "new buildings which are collapsing" and not in the sense of "causing new buildings to collapse". A reference to flimsy construction rather than a statement of intent.

Never been a Goth and am mostly a fan of the later Detroit industrial movement. (Which includes KMFDM musically, even though geographically and culturally they are European.) So I'll accept that your translation may be more canonical.
