Quora answers has a great skeptical look at Paul Ekman's work on micro facial expressions.

Which came from this MeFi thread on the release of the TSA's 92 point profiling checklist in which The Whelk observed:

First check if the passenger has the mark of the goat, or an unusual birthmark, or has been seen covorting with the devil behind Goody Wainwright's shed.
