I've been vaguely aware of the trampling deaths of some huge number of people at this year's hajj, but this headline put it in the perspective of... say... the 9/11 attacks: Saudi Arabia hajj disaster death toll at least 2,110.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this line of thought, but this is the same nation that's killing bloggers, and whose leaders are sucking face with George Dubya Bush.
