You might have seen that Panera Bread leaked millions of customer loyalty records:

... including names, email and physical addresses, birthdays and the last four digits of the customer’s credit card number ...

The researcher who originally found the hole follows up with No, Panera Bread doesn't take security seriously. talking not just about Panera's weak-sauce response (they, uh, didn't rise to the occasion), but about the reporting process and how journalism also failed here.
