I think what it perhaps should be is a reminder to dial back the Federalism, remove a lot of the subsidy of the interior states that we're providing. It's gonna be tough to disentangle the economies like that, but it's also plain that the ocean coasts can't keep trying to drag the rest of the country in a direction it doesn't want to go, and that may mean cutting Louisiana, Alabama, and the midwest free.

That was tried once already, and there was a war to put it back together. I predict things are going to get rather fun.
