Argh

Argh. I apparently can't get pfSense doing IPv6 with my Pace 5268AC. Which I guess means I'm gonna have to drop the firewall and use the crappy Pace device which doesn't have a true passthrough mode directly. Ugh.

The problem with U-Verse (this service is Sonic resold U-Verse) is that the modem is tied to the service. I managed to figure out the right magic sauce, but my next step was to set up my pfSense box to do a full-time VPN to tunnel the ipV6.

The firewall rule mentioned here did it: https://forums.att.com/t5/AT-T...caded-router/td-p/5093656/page/2

You might want to just consider getting a different modem. Check Wally World and Worst Buy, they've been putting some on clearance.

Also, is this unit doing PPPoE? I had an ISP give me a modem/router that was amazingly crappy, and I wound up disabling *everything* except the modem functionality, and performed the PPPoE login with a better routing device through it.
