Two from Shadow:

Insanely fast 9000w DIY eBike - the most dangerous and unsafe bike ever (YouTube video). Looks basically like motorcycle (or at least standard road) speeds on a bicycle chassis. Link goes straight to the test ride, but there's 11 minutes of the build before that).

And A tweet thread about checking into an AirBNB with mucked up home automation, and debugging that. We in technology have definitely not solved the "just works, without maintenance" issue.

Well admittedly, when someone starts pulling out wires and turning off breakers, that's gonna be a problem no matter what you've got.
