So, if they're not overwhelming the SW border, what's wrong with putting up a fance and having them come through the legal border crossings?

By all accounts they're headed towards the legal crossing to ask for asylum. Why bother putting up a fence?

But, in general, the US's immigration laws are used to enforce a labor system that's only slightly removed from slavery, and we should open the fucking borders. For the sake of our economy and our crime rates.
