I know a couple of y'all had bad experiences working on PhDs. I realize that as advisors go, this one's pretty extraordinary, but if you ever wanted to make sure you had a never-ending supply of grad students, hiring mercenaries to bust one out of a family visit gone wrong is, in my book, the most awesome way possible to do it.
