Iranian phishers bypass 2fa protections offered by Yahoo Mail and Gmail. Sounds like this was basic MitM phishing, but worth thinking about in environments like Iran where the CA infrastructure has a history of compromise and someone else controls the DNS.

Also just worth thinking about in terms of your own workflow. In these days of unicode replacements for almost every character, never ever trust a URL you didn't type in yourself.
