There's a difference between social distancing and lockdowns, and it's the latter these protests are really focused on.

So far as I can tell, the distinction is about whether or not the gardening section of the big box stores is open or closed? (Ours are open, but access is gated, and our local landscaping materials place only does "call ahead, place your order, don't get out of your truck".
