So I haven't been watching the Olympics, partly on principle, partly 'cause most of the summer sports bore me, but listening to the swimming geeks on the Sunday morning hike this morning, it seems that NBC Sports is dedicated to making sure that nobody who actually knows anything about a sport cares about watching TV coverage (kinda like listening to Dick Button on ice skating...). C'mon folks, you have the knowledgeable commentators, ask 'em to say something informative, not just ramble about what we can see happening on the screen. (Hmmm... I meant to point that Olympics[Wiki] link to Olympics.org, but it ended up at Olympics.com. Read no meaning into the slip...)
