WhatsApp moderators can read your messages. This is my surprised face. How Facebook Undermines Privacy Protections for Its 2 Billion WhatsApp Users.
I mean, it's a little more complex than that, someone either has to report your message, or their automated client-side image scanning service (like the one Apple is rolling out) has to report your message, but the assertion is that there are a hell of a lot of false positives on that.
