The most successful San Francisco pornographers of the 1970s were Jim and Artie Mitchell of the still-rocking Mitchell Brothers O’Farrell Theater theater, the venue directly responsible for the legalization of lap dancing. In the 70s, the joint was a strip-club-slash-adult-theater.
