Yeah, it worked as designed, and it was a scam and a whole lot of people got taken: ‘Buy the Constitution’ Aftermath: Everyone Very Mad, Confused, Losing Lots of Money, Fighting, Crying, Etc.
ConstitutionDAO tried to buy the Constitution. Now it has a $40 million mess on its hands and entire refunds are being wiped out by high fees.
And holy shit the transaction costs on Ethereum are huge and should completely demolish the lie that it's in any way usable as a currency.
