Projects like this are kinda silly. I'm sure that for few hundred bucks I could buy something in plastic. But the hardware needed organizing and the scrap bin was full.

I’ve got a project similar to that that needs building, but I’m planning to do drawers. And a buddy out east sent me enough wormy chestnut to face all the drawers. Just need to find the time amidst all the other priorities.

But nice job! Organizational projects like that are great in my eyes. Part of what we do as humans is fight against entropy.

Yeah, I thought about drawers, but started coming up with the need for dividers for the drawer supports, and the fact that I often grab a drawer and bring it with me, and that I had a whole bunch of long strips of wood, and one thing led to another...
