I'm hearing reports that six people

I'm hearing reports that six people were arrested during the coronation this morning. That it is still being referred to as a coronation suggests that it was the wrong six.

It's a coronation in the oldest sense of the word. Love or hate monarchy, love or hate Charles, why are you attacking language?

If there were enough voltage involved in this situation to cause coronal discharge, I'd be totally on board, but anything that legitimizes monarchy or crowns... well... I guess I'm okay with tiaras.

It's huge fanfare over nothing, the royal family has no power aside from attention, and you're making way too much hay over fancy hats IMO.

My brain went to Tiaras... with a coronal discharge arcing between the points.

Hmmm... Could I / Should I put that kind of voltage (low current) on my/a head?

Hmmmm... thinking about how I'd feel safe with a head-mounted Jacob's ladder...
