I always thought that the other search engines would eventually catch up to Google, not that Google would just become so crappy that it's no longer differentiable from the other search engines.

Sigh. LLMs and the "AI"ification of search sucks.

Also, sites which have alerts and changing data and don't publish RSS or similar change notification suck. Lookin' at you, LeagueLobster.
