Date night in our household involved wandering around town with local history books looking at architectural details and trying to guess at building heights. And talking about how the apparent goofiness in an apartment block reflects some well intentioned quirks in the form-based code. And sometimes in the shadow of taller buildings and industrial happenings a detail catches my eye and the light.
