Anyone know if the MacBook Neo runs

Anyone know if the MacBook Neo runs MacOS apps, or if it's a glorified iPad? A friend is excited about it, but only if it'll run https://squaredesk.net , and I don't have the tuits to try to make an iOS port right now...

since they're calling it a Mac, it'll run macos stuff. The M[1-5]'s are an offshoot of the A[*] line, so it'll run ARM code. The screenshots have mac apps running (though it's hideous. uhghghghgh). Apple also has a two week return period for "wtf this doesn't work" situations.

I'm kinda stoked it doesn't have The Notch.

Of course I'm now also seeing that it's not that much less expensive than a refurb Air M2 with actual RAM, so... I think I'm gonna try to vector said friend in that direction.
