oh god that email signature.

For DECADES I've signed email "++md". Last year or so, when you type a plus (about 70% of the time) it puts up a pop-up to choose an identity to paste in a signature for. No way to turn it off. If you press escape to try to dismiss it, it closes your draft. Eventually discovered I can type six or seven spaces, and the popup disappears (yay) as well as the insertion point (booo).
